'Laugh India Laugh' is a new comedy show to be aired on Life Ok. Along with Shekhar Suman, actor Chunky Pandey and singer Mika will also be judging the show.

"It is a clean and neat comedy show minus the double meaning jokes. TV is a family medium and one can't show anything bold and all. TV is watched by the whole family together, so one can't show anything that is objectionable," Shekhar said.

Shekhar, who has been part of comedy shows earlier, says he feels proud to be part of this show. "I am proud of the show and not embarrassed," he said.

Co-judge Chunky feels there are different styles of comedy and making people laugh, depending upon the audience.

"This show is a pure, clean family-entertainer. We understand that the audience of TV is different from films. I have done this film 'Kya Super Kool Hai Hum', where there are double-meaning jokes. So there are types of comedy - vulgar or clean," he said.

"There are people who want to see 'Kya Super Kool Hai Hum' kind of a film. So there is an audience for everything," he added.

The daily comedy show will be aired from July 15. Later, with the top 18 contestants from India and Pakistan, the show will be shown on weekends.
