"As per the information received from the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), they have dealt with 50 cases of child rights violation involving alleged child abuse in the orphanages in the country during the last three years and in the current year (upto November 30)," the Women and Child Development Minister said this in Rajya Sabha in response to a question.
She said the cases include rape, molestation, torture and death.
