The US-made low budget movie evoked sharp reactions from various parts world. Protests were also held in parts of Uttar Pradesh.
Talking to the reporters here Jawad said such acts should not be tolerated.
"UN should frame a law so that stringent action was taken against any person, who insults any religion," said Jawad, who is also a member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board.
Demanding a complete ban on broadcast of the movie on internet, he said the UN should lodge a case and take action against the person who made the film.
Jawad said a procession would be taken out in Lucknow on September 29 in which leaders of all religions would take part.
