Finance Minister Amit Mitra said that this would help share information and streamline activities in the department.
"Occupancy or vacancies in government flats will be visible through these websites bringing in transparency in the system," Housing Minister Aroop Biswas said.
"The initiative has been taken to give shape to the dream of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee," the ministers said.
