The painting competition is in tune with ongoing 'Clean India' movement and is aimed at educating children about the benefits of cleanliness at an early age, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel said in a press release here today.
Around 1.28 crore students from primary schools to colleges in Gujarat would take part in the competition to commemorate 'Mahatma Gandhi Nirvan Din'.
Apart from schools under the Gujarat state board, schools under the CBSE and ICSE would also be included in the competition, the release said.
