"The pilgrims have already started their yatra from September 21," Haryana MLA from Nuh Assembly and Chairman of the state Haj Committee, Aftab Ahmad said today.

While 1,100 Haj pilgrims will leave between September 21-25 the remaining will leave between October 7-10, Ahmad said.

"There are more pilgrims also in the waiting list and our efforts will be to send more number of Haj pilgrims," he said.

Ahmad along with chairman of Delhi Haj Committee, Parvez Miyan today visited the Haj terminal at IGI Airport, Delhi, to see the facilities being provided there to the pilgrims.

He said Haryana Haj Committee is providing all possible assistance to the pilgrims.

"One member of the Haj committee is also going with them for their guidance and help. The pilgrims have been briefed about all the necessary things about the pilgrimage and appropriate arrangements have also been made for their stay at Mecca and Madina," he said.
