1.5 kg gold worth Rs 45 lakh seized

Police today seized over one kg of gold here when it was being smuggled to Kerala.
Police said 1.5 kg of gold worth about Rs 45 lakh was seized and one person, who attempted to smuggle the contraband, taken into custody for questioning.
