"Government has supplied irrigation water to one crore acres land in the state with the inter-linking of rivers and construction of projects in the state. The river inter-linking project of of river Godvari and Krishna and Pattiseema and Polavaram projects have been key projects," Rao said.
He was speaking while addressing a gathering at a workshop at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada in East Godavari district yesterday.
State government is working on several projects to make AP 'drought-free', he said, adding that steps are being taken to provide water to another 30 to 40 acres land with inter-linking of rivers and other projects.
