1 dies, 2 injured

One person was killed, while
two others were injured in Begusarai district of Bihar, when the SUV they were traveling rammed into a truck while trying to overtake it in the wee hours today.
Police officials said the incident happened on NH 31 near Ramjanpur village under Lakho police station and the deceased has been identified as Surendra Kumar alias Rameshwar (42), a resident of Sukhan Tola under Town police station of Begusarai.
Lakho Station House Officer (SHO) Amit Kumar said the SUV in which the ill-fated persons were inside, was traveling at high speed and lost its control while trying to overtake a truck going ahead of it.

"Surendra died on the spot. The injured have been identified as Mukesh Kumar and Rupesh Kumar. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Begusarai, where Mukesh's condition is said to be serious," said the SHO.
