1 run over by tractor, vehicle torched

One person was killed after being knocked down by a tractor at Amta area in Howrah district today triggering mob violence in the area.
Police said the rampaging mob set aflame the tractor which hit 50-year old Sankar Porel as he was crossing the road kiling him on the spot.
The mob also blocked the road for two hours before reinforcements arrived at the spot.
