10 brown hares, lapwing bird seized

Ten brown hares and a lapwing bird, both protected species under the Wildlife Act, were seized by forest department officials from four persons here today, police said.
The four on being questioned said they planned to sell the hares and bird in the market at an exorbitant rate.
Three bikes used by them were also seized, police said.
