The EVMs and their control units were recovered from the cave near Dokradera village on restive Chandameta hills which lies on the bordering region of Chhattisgarh-Odisha, Bastar Additional Superintendent of Police Vijay Pandey told PTI.
A joint team of District Reserve Group (DRG) and local police had launched an anti-naxal operation from Chandameta police camp under Darbha police station limits, located around 350 kms away from here.
While cordoning off a forested hill near Dokradera, they spotted a naxal hideout in a cave following which they raided the place and found the EVMs and other polling materials, the ASP said.
A case has been registered in this connection, he added.
