At least 10 persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in an attack on a police team at Taptapani in Odisha's Ganjam district on May 29.
The accused were held from their houses following a police raid, a senior police officer said.
The crackdown would continue to arrest other persons allegedly involved in the incident, he said.
At least eight police personnel, including Inspector- in-Charge of Patapur Police Station and two assistant sub inspectors, were injured in the the attack by the mob on May 29.
The arrested persons belong to T Gobindapur village, said IIC of Patapur Police Station, Ramesh Chandra Pradhan.
