10-member Japanese delegation visits Sri City

Top officials of consumer durables majors Panasonic and Hitachi and also Mitsubishi Research Institute were part of a 10-member Japanese delegation that visited Sri City Special Economic Zone, about 90 km from here, today to explore possibility of setting up electronic parks.
The delegation, representing the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association, visited Sri City at Tada to witness available infrastructure and explore possibilities of setting up electronic parks, a press release said.
Sri City SEZ Managing Director Ravindra Sannareddy said the delegation's visit was a follow up to the recent visit of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to Japan.

Andhra Pradesh Information Technology Electronics and Communications Secretary B Sreedhar explained the infrastructure available to industries and incentives offered by the Government, the release said.
