Ten more persons have succumbed to swine flu in Rajasthan in the last 48 hours, raising the toll due to the H1N1 virus to 261 in the state, a health department official said today.
Out of 5,528 patients who were tested positive for the HINI virus, 261 have died since January 1 this year, an official of state Medical and Health Directorate said.
Jaipur has recorded the maximum deaths with the toll rising to 53 followed by Ajmer 30, Jodhpur 29, Nagaur 24, Barmer 21, Kota 12, Pali 10, Sikar 9, Chittorgarh 8, Banswara, Churu, and Bhilwara six each, Duasa, Tonk, Jhunjhunu five each, and one to four at many places in the state.
