The accused students of the Rajasthan College under the University of Rajasthan, had harassed their junior students in Vivekanand hostel, a week ago, following which the victims had lodged a complaint with the college and university authorities.
"A committee was constituted after the complaint which found ten students guilty. The committee submitted its report today which was placed before the anti-ragging committee which recommended stern action following which the decision to expel the guilty students was taken," Vice-Chancellor, University of Rajasthan, Dr Devswaroop told PTI.
The vice-chancellor said the hostel warden J P Jat has already been "removed" after the incident came to light.
Some of the guilty students are from the first year and others are final-year students of Bachelor of Arts, another official said, while adding the matter will also be reported to the local police.
