The vehicle was on its way to Parade from Janipur area of the city when its driver lost control over it at Tali Morh area, police said.
The matador overturned on the road and ten students were injured, police said, adding they were admitted to Government Medical College hospital for treatment.
The condition of all the students was said to be stable, according to police.
A case has been registered against the driver and conductor of the vehicle and a search hunt launched to arrest them, police said.
