The bus carrying around 40 passengers including 11 ITBP jawans was on its way from Rekong Peo in Tribal Kinnaur district to Keylong via Rampur-Luri, Kinnaur SP Veena Bharti told PTI on phone.
Rescue and medical teams rushed to the spot and all the bodies were recovered. The injured have been rushed to hospital, she added.
Two ITBP jawans, two Home Guard jawans and the driver of the bus were among the deceased.
The cause of accident could not be ascertained immediately.
