At least 11 people were killed by gunfire and scores wounded during clashes between supporters and opponents of embattled President Daniel Ortega, a human rights group said today.
The new toll from yesterday's violence, reported by the Nicaraguan Centre for Human Rights, brings to 92 the number of dead from a wave of protests that began on April 18 against Ortega.
