Eleven persons were injured, seven of them seriously, when an auto-rickshaw collided head on with a SUV in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district on Tuesday, police said.
The incident occurred at a diversion near Chandrahatti village when the auto-rickshaw, carrying 10 persons collided head-on with an SUV, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DySP) Krishna Murari Prasad said.
All the 11 injured passengers including the auto driver were referred to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur after administering first aid at Kudhni primary health center (PHC), police said.
However, the driver of the SUV managed to escape from the spot, he said adding that police have seized both the auto-rickshaw and the SUV.
