"We have arrested 118 people since May 31. More arrests in connection with the violence will be made," Superintendent of Police (Bhopal North) Arvind Saxena told PTI today.
"Those who fomented trouble and added fuel to the fire via social media will be arrested. We want to send a strong message to the troublemakers that communal violence won't be tolerated at any cost," he said, adding a special cell is investigating the matter.
Members of two communities had clashed and pelted stones at each other in Old City area here on May 30, leaving some persons, including policemen, injured.
