The train carrying 904 tonnes of goods - computers and machinery parts - began its journey from the Putian station in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province, last night.
Zhengzhou opened its freight train route to Hamburg in July 2013. The number cargo rail services increased dramatically under China's Belt and Road Initiative, which is aimed at connecting mainland China to Eurasian markets.
The increase in service between the two cities marked the expansion of transport capacity on the Zhengzhou-Hamburg rail service, Zhengzhou Railway Bureau said.
