12 more file nominations filed on the last day

Twelve more nominations papers were filed on the last day of filing of nomination papers for Lok Sabha poll in Gujarat today, where single phase polling for 26 seats will be held on April 30.
With this, the total number of candidates filing nomination papers rose to 17, including BJP's prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi and All India Congress Committee general secretary Madhusudhan Mistry.
Amongst those who filed nomination papers today included independent candidate Narendra Babulal Modi.
Earlier, the Congress had made Narendra Rawat president of city unit.
However, he withdrew his candidature and made way for Mistry to file his nomination papers from the Vadodara seat.
Madhusudan Rohit belonging to the BSP also filed his nomination papers here today.
