Portugal will be sending 200 athletes in all nine disciplines for the games scheduled from November 2-10, according to official sources.
They are expected to be the show stealers at the athletic event, while its football team is going to start as favourites.
Earlier, there was a doubt whether Portugal would send a Wushu team but now it is confirmed that a 14-member squad has been shortlisted to debut at the Games, sources said.
Angola, which was hesitant to take part because of lack of infrastructure, has now agreed to send a 129-member contingent including its best football team. Except volleyball, Angola will participate in all other disciplines.
