12-year-old boy dies, family members injured in mishap

A 12-year-old boy was killed and three of his family members injured when their bike was allegedly hit by a speeding bus on Sitapur-Lucknow road in the district today, police said.
The driver of the bus, working under contract with Uttar Pradesh roadways fled the scene after the accident leaving behind the vehicle, they said.
The injured, including a nine-year-old girl have been shifted to a hospital in Lucknow, police said.
