12-yr-old found dead in Gurgaon

A 12-year-old girl was allegedy murdered and her body found in an isolated place near posh Galleria Market here, police said.
Prima facie it appears that the girl has been raped as her private parts have injury marks and most of her clothes have been torn off, said Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Crime, Gurgaon.
The minor, a daughter of a washerman, had gone to deliver the clothes to a client in the posh locality in DLF Phase 4 here late last evening, police said.
However, when she did not return by night, her parents informed the police.
The police, along with the girl's parents and other acquaintances, kept searching for her in the nearby areas during the night but to no avail.

However, they recieved information early morning that the girl was lying dead in the bushes in the locality.
The body has been sent to Civil Hospital for post-mortem and only after medical examination can rape be confirmed, Kumar said.
