As many as 13,000 inmates across three jail complexes in the national capital performed yoga asanas to mark the fourth International Yoga Day today.
A senior official said that inmates from Mandoli, Tihar and Rohini prison complexes performed the yoga.
The official said that yoga teachers from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Panchawati Yogashram and Nature Cure Center visited the Tihar jail and made the inmates perform yoga.
Ahead of the International Yoga Day, yoga guru Baba Ramdev had conducted a yoga session with nearly 11,000 inmates on Sunday.
