In Kushinagar, seven people were killed and five injured when a truck hit three tempos in Sukrauli area, police said.
All the victims were travelling in the tempos, they said.
In Unnao, three persons were killed and two injured when a jeep after hitting a bus fell on a bike, police said.
The accident happened near Harivansh Rai Bachchan College in Sadar area.
