The deceased were in the 5-15 years age bracket and were from J S Vidyaniketan school.
The national capital witnessed chilly and breezy conditions with the morning temperature settling at 6.4 degrees Celsius.

Intense cold wave conditions persisted in most parts of Himachal Pradesh even as day temperatures rose by few notches.
Keylong and Kalpa in tribal Lahaul and Spiti and Kinnaur districts recorded a low of minus 9.1 degrees Celsius and minus 5 degrees Celsius.
The weather remained mostly dry but Keylong and Kalpa received 4 cm of snow.
Solanand Bhuntar shivered at freezing point with minimum temperatures at 0.8 degree Celsius, and 1 degree Celsius while Shimla and Sundernagar recorded a low of 1.3 degree Celsius.
