The pledge was taken at 6,230 locations and places like government offices, public places includng District Election Officers office, RO offices, ARO offices, BLO's offices, villages, bus stands and parks.
Various category of electors, includhg college students, young voters, industrial workers, women, old aged electors, Resident Welfare Association, all govemment officials in State and Central Government and police officials, as part of several steps to ensure inducement-free and fair general elections, an official release said.
