13 new animals arrive Tata Steel zoo

Tata Steel Zoo here has added 13 new members in its family including a white male tiger, which arrived here from Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park, Tirupati in exchange of two Mandrills.
Under the exchange program, Tata Steel zoo also known as Tata Steel Zoological Society (TSZS) has sent two Mandrills (one male one female) on Sunday in the same truck that brought six Indian Star Tortoises (three female, three males), four Indian Porcupine (one male, one female, two unsexed offsprings), a pair of Grey Jungle Fowl and a White Tiger (male) named "Kailash" from Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park, said Rajnish Kumar, Member Managing Committee of TSZS.

After a gap of two years, Kumar said TSZS welcomed 13 new animals in their family that arrived on Sunday afternoon from the Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park, Tirupati after travelling a marathon 1600 Kms by road under the supervision of five member team from Tirupati Zoo led by their veterinary officer Naveen Kumar.
