The first accident occurred at Okhaldhunga district when an overloaded van skidded off the road and fell some 150 metres down at Siddhicharan town.
Seven persons were killed on the spot while four others were killed as they were undergoing medical treatment, a police officer said.
Those killed in the accident include four women and seven men.
The jeep was ferrying a patient to hospital, Deputy Superintendent of police Dambar Bahadur said, adding "on the way to the hospital many people boarded the jeep which had the capacity of only five people.
In a separate accident, two people died when a truck and motorcycle had a head-on collision at Dobhan Village of Jhumsa area in Palpa district of western Nepal today.
The incident occurred when a truck heading towards Palpa collided with a motorbike coming from the opposite direction along the Siddhartha Highway.
