The commission shifted SSP of nine districts - Muktsar, Tarn Tarn, Ferozepur, Patiala, Batala, Fazilka, Faridkot, Kapurthala, and Mansa, an official spokesman said here.
Among the transferred officers included three IGPs.
While Nilabh Kishore will be the new IGP Bathinda zone, B Chandrasekhar will be new IGP Patiala zone.
Besides, Amit Prasad will be new IGP Intelligence.
The new Commissioner of Police of Amritsar will be G Nageshwara Rao.
