House surgeon Tinu Edwina was hospitalised with serious injuries on the neck and face when Rafi (38), her patient, attacked her in front of Jubilee Mission hospital on June 1.
Students from all medical colleges in the state, various doctors organisations, including Young Doctors Association of India, PG Association, House Surgeons Association and Kerala Medicos Association, marked their protest by wearing black badges, IMA state President Dr J Rajagopalan Nair told PTI.
Rafi, who was arrested shortly after committing the crime, has claimed that he was not satisfied with the treatment Edwina had advised him.
