A six-member police team led by Inspector Deep Ram last night intercepted three vehicles at a naka at Burah in Mandi district and recovered the charas, besides cash worth Rs 3.25 lakh, police said.
Six persons, including drivers of two vehicles Roshan Lal and Padam Singh were arrested while the driver of the Alto, Nikka Ram, fled from the spot and was still absconding, police said.
Ram Kumar (35), Sanjay (30), Deepak Kumar and Jai Singh were also nabbed, they said.
A case under NDPS Act was registered against the accused and further investigations are in progress, police said.
