15 children injured after school bus hits parked lorry

A school bus belonging to the Kuntikota Narayana School of Nandigama village hit a parked lorry on the Chennai-Kolkata national highway at about 12 noon on Sunday.
Of the 40 school children travelling in the bus, about 15 children were injured out of whom, five received severe injuries and the remaining ten received minor injuries.
School authorities immediately rushed them to Palasa for treatment.
Worried parents rushed to the hospital in which they were admitted.
The ten children who escaped with minor injuries were discharged from the hospital.
