missing after a mechanised boat capsized in Betli river in Sandeshkhali area of North 24 Parganas district
The boat with around 30-35 people on board left Najat for Kathkhali when it sank midway, police said.
Some people swam to safety and around 15 were missing, the police said, adding search efforts were on.
