15-year-old boy crushed to death by truck

Eid celebration today turned tragic for a 15-year-old boy who was crushed to death by a truck on his way to market to buy milk for preparing a sweet dish, police said.
Shaikh Sameer Kadeer, a resident of village Sakegaon under Bhusawal tehsil of Jalgaon district, was going to the local market on a motorbike this morning with his friend to buy milk to prepare "sheer-khurma", an Eid delicacy.
When he reached Bhoinagar, a speeding truck dashed into his two-wheeler and crushed his under its wheels. The Class 9 student of Indira Gandhi School at Sakegaon died on the spot, they said.

His father is a labourer engaged in masonry work.
The truck driver, Parbhatbhai Kadast (51), a resident of Porbandar, Gujarat, has been arrested, Police Inspector Vasant More said.
