A 15-year-old girl from Bengaluru, who had gone missing since last month was today rescued from here, police said.
A 29-year-old man and two of his friends were picked up for allegedly confining the minor at their house, said police.
"One Shoaib, working with a construction firm here and two of his friends have been picked up and the girl has been rescued," Deputy Commissioner of Police (South Zone) V Satyanarayana said.
Shoaib started chatting with the girl, a class nine student on a social networking site since last 20 days and developed friendship with her. He lured her to come to Hyderabad, police said.
On February 26, she came to Hyderabad and Shoaib took her to the house of his friends. He also started taking her on joyrides besides allegedly making sexual advances towards her, the DCP said.
The girl's mother had lodged a complaint with Bengaluru police and the cops today tracked down Shoaib and rescued the girl.

In the meanwhile, Shoaib along with the girl approached a human rights organisation in the city and gave "wrong" information to them stating that her mother has been harassing her. The Organisation, in turn lodged a complaint with State Human Rights Commission, the senior police officer said.
The DCP further said as the girl is a minor, they are in the process of registering a case on charge of kidnapping against Shoaib and two of his friends.
"We are also looking into if to proceed against the human rights organisation in connection with the matter," Satyanarayana added.
