1500 athletes to participate in inter-university cross country

: At least 1500 athletes will vie for the titles at the All India inter-university cross country championship for men and women, commencing here tomorrow.
The championship is being organised by Mahatma Gandhi University.
The participating athletes will be representing 154 teams, a press release said.
The competitions for men with a 12 kilometer stretch, starting at 6.30 am, will be flagged off by the District Collector and the women's section with 6 kilometer stretch, will be flagged off by the CISF Commandment Anil Bali at 7.30am.
Prize distribution will take place at 9.00 am in the Durbar Hall Ground. The event is being organised by the Chinmaya Vidyta Peet, here.
