The 59-year-old star, who today unveiled a statue of emperor 'Sri Krishna Dev Raya' at Railway Kodur here, asked his fans to bless him ahead of the shooting of the upcoming movie, to be helmed by Puri Jagannadh.
The former minister in the UPA government urged people to extend the same "uninterrupted support" for the film, which they given him so far.
The film will mark his return to the big screen after a gap of seven years. He was last seen in a cameo role in 2009 film "Magadheera", which starred his actor son Ram Charan.
In a career spanning 35 years, Chiranjeevi delivered superhits like "Shubhalekha", "Gharana Mogudu", "Rudraveena", "Indra" and "Vijetha".
