16 injured as bus overturns in Thane

At least 16 persons were injured, when a luxury bus which was on its way to Nepal from Borivili in Mumbai, turned turtle on the Ghodbunder road near here today, civic officials said.
Seven of the injured are admitted to Vedant hospital while the rest are being treated at the Citizen hospital, Chief of Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of Thane Municipal Corporation Santosh Kadam told PTI.
He said upon getting the message of the mishap, firemen and personnel from the RDMC rushed to the spot where rescue operations are underway.
