16 players to attend Basketball Coaching camp

Sixteen cagers have been short-listed to attend the State Coaching Camp commencing at the JRD Tata Sports Complex here from tomorrow, a Jharkhand State Basketball Association (JSBA) official said today.
During the 10-day coaching camp, Jharkhand Men Basketball team will be picked up on the basis of their performance, said Secretary of JSBA.
A former Olympian, Singh said the selected Jharkhand team will participate in the 64th National Basketball Championship scheduled to be held at New Delhi from February 26 to March five.
JSBA will select the final 12-member team on February 21, he said.
The players have been directed to report J.P. Singh, Head Coach, JSBA tomorrow at the sports complex for practice, Singh said.

Following are the players: Shamshad Alam, Amit Das, Dinesh Kr Rajak, Devender Milgandi (all from Jharkhand Police), Saurabh Kr Singh, Vishal Bagh, Rajesh Mahato (all from Tata Steel Trg Center), Alen Peter, Md Washim (from Jamshedpur Basketball Assn), Vikash, G Raj (from Saraikela District), Shashi Shekher (from Bokaro Sports Assn), Manish (from Dhanbad District), Abhishek Jojo, Sukhdeep Singh (from Chotanagpur Basketball Assn), Prem Kumar, Biju Joshep (from Ranchi District).
