16-year-old goes missing from Faridabad

A 16-year-old girl, resident of village Dhauj in Faridabad, was reported missing after she left her house in the evening, police said today.
According to the complaint filed by Arif, brother of the victim, his sister left home at about 9 pm on May 15, they said.
Since then the family has not heard anything from her.
Locals have informed the family that Deenu, resident of the same village, has lured the girl to marry and the girl has gone with him, police said.
A case was registered yesterday at Police Station Sector-55, Faridabad under IPC sections 363 (punishment for kidnapping) and 366 (kidnapping, abducting or inducing woman to compel her marriage), said the investigating officer ASI Balbir Singh.
In a similar case, a 19-year-old girl was reported missing from village Ankhir in Faridabad, police said.

Raj Singh, father of the victim, filed a complaint with police station Surajkund Faridabad informing about her daughter missing since May 13, they said.
In his complaint, Singh said that the girl left home without informing anyone at home.
The family expressed suspicion that Harsh, resident of Gothra in Faridabad, lured her by promising marriage, police said.
A case registered yesterday under section 366 of IPC.
Police have started investigations in the case, said ASI Narender Kumar.
