It said in a bulletin that 945 samples were tested since August 1 (and till August 28). Of these, 165 samples were found to be positive for the H1N1 virus.
No death had been reported during the period, it said.
The bulletin said 17 positive cases of swine flu were found among the 84 samples tested yesterday.
Medicines and testing kits are available in sufficient stocks in hospitals at different levels in the state, the bulletin added.
