17 officials served notices for being absent on Tehsil Divas

Seventeen officials were served notices today by the Amethi district administration for being absent in a Tehsil Divas at Gauriganj here.
One-day salary of these officials will be "stopped" and "action" will be taken against them, the notice said.
The district administration also served show-cause notices to six more officers for "negligence" in disposing complaints raised in the divas, it said.
Amethi District Magistrate Chandra Kant Pandey said, "All complaints raised in any Tehsil Divas must be disposed off within 15 days."
The officers must maintain quality while disposing off the complaints or action will be taken against them as per guidelines of the state government, he added.
