18-months-old baby crushed to death by state transport bus

A state road transport corporation bus crushed an 18-months-old baby boy to death on the Warangal-Kazipet highway on Monday, after he slipped from his mother's hands, a police official said.
According to a police official, the incident took place when T Sumalatha, a resident of Gopalapuram village tried to get down from an autorickshaw near a private hospital in the Subedari area, along with her 18-months-old boy.
Soon after the accident, the mother of the baby boy fell unconscious and was admitted to the hospital.
After the driver surrendered at the Subedari police station, the police registered a case against him.
