Deposing before Additional Sessions Judge Pawan Jain, 65-year-old Ganesh Sharma, whose right leg had to be amputated due to injuries sustained in blast, said, "The government had announced ex-gratia payment of Rs 50,000 but till date he has got only Rs 20,000."
"I have not received the balance," he said.
Sharma was examined as a prosecution witness in the case which is being tried afresh with the Supreme Court setting aside Hussain's death sentence and ordering his fresh trial.
Sharma said he had boarded the blueline bus for Nangloi on December 30, 1997 from Zakhira over-bridge and was standing in its rear portion of the bus.
He said at about 6:20 pm when the bus reached Ram Pura red light, a blast took place in it and he sustained injuries in his right leg, which had to be amputated and he had to be in hospital for a month.
Sharma, however, said he had not seen any person planting the bomb.
