In the first incident, customs officials found 1.2 kg of gold concealed in the belongings of a 17-year-old boy after he alighted from a flight from Kuwait around 6 am, they said.
Investigations revealed he is a native of Rajahmundry of Andhra Pradesh, they said.
In the other incident, Mohammed Gouse Sheik of Rajampettai in Kadapa District of Andhra Pradesh, who arrived here from Bahrain around 6 am was found with 1.7 kg gold.
This is the second such seizure of gold in as many days at the airport.Over four kg of gold valued at Rs 1.5 crore was seized in separate incidents and two persons were detained yesterday.
