Two African nationals, hailing from Republic of Congo and Nigeria, were found murdered under mysterious circumstances in different areas of southwest Delhi, police said today.
In the first incident, a 25-year-old Congo national's bullet riddled body was found inside a car in southwest Delhi's Dwarka sector 5 area early this morning, they said.
"The deceased was identified as Yen. He was a Congo national and had come to India on a tourist visa last year. We got a PCR call at around 2 am that a body was found in a car near Dwarka sector 5," Additional Commissioner of Police (South-West) Anil Kumar Ojha said.
The body bore multiple injury marks, three of which look like gun shot wounds, he said, adding the cause of death will be clear only after an autopsy.
The body was sent to Deen Dyal Updhyay Hospital for post mortem and a murder case has been lodged in this regard at Dwarka South Police Station, police said.
The owner of the car in which the body was found belongs to an Indian friend of the deceased, who lived in Dwarka sector 8 and was running a garment business.
